Neil Roberts, Hartleys’ design consultant, is adding charity fundraising to his list of accomplishments for the Skipton fitted furniture company.
Leading by example, Neil has donated £200 of his own earnings towards Skipton’s Santa Fun Run organised by Skipton Rotary Club of which he is a proactive member. Hartleys is matching his donation in support of the event on 30th November which is expected to attract more than 1200 participants. Neil will be actively involved on the day as the ‘sweeper’, ensuring any unfit Santas are taken care of on the day.
Hartleys is also spurring-on with fundraising down the road in Ilkley, where they are the main event sponsor for a Race Night organised by Ilkley Wharfedale Rugby Club. The charity, Ilkley Community Enterprise Ltd runs Outside the Box café, supporting people with learning disabilities and re-investing profit back into the local community. The race night event on Friday 28th November at Hollygarth Social Club on Leeds Road, is open to anyone who fancies a flutter. Tickets are £5 including race-card and pie and pea supper. Parade ring 7pm and starters orders at 7.30pm.
