Wendy Clarkson is scheduled to present the regular member spotlight at the next meeting of Enterprising Women on Thursday 2nd April at Utopia on the Broughton Hall estate.
An independent green funeral director and celebrant, Wendy helps families to access an environmentally conscious natural end of life service for their loved ones. Working with woodland sites including Brocklands, near Rathmell and Tarn Moor at Skipton she also provides bio-degradable coffins and bespoke shrouds.
Wendy will talk about her work in easing the grieving process by providing a ceremony that is true to the person who has died, and how it is possible to put in place plans for what you want to happen yourself when the time comes.
Open to non-members, the brunch session runs between 10am and 12 noon at Utopia on the Broughton Hall estate. As well as listening to the member spotlight the group provides a monthly opportunity for businesswomen in Craven to pool ideas, share skills and help each other’s businesses in a round-table environment.
Host, Emma Pentelow, is a Director of The Pentelow Practice Ltd., a family business at the forefront of wealth management. She believes the format of the group is ideally suited for professional women to foster opportunities to work together. The round table style meeting provides a mix of formal and informal networking with time for each member to outline a business problem they are facing and tap into the combined resources of the group for suggestions.
The business club session on 2nd April costs £14 including brunch. To book a place, new and existing members are invited to register online at http://www.enterprising-women.org/skipton-business-club-networking-april-2015
