Swapping their smart suits and high heels for T-shirts, leggings and trainers, the managing partner and admin team of The Pentelow Practice Ltd got down and dirty for cancer research at the Race for Life event Pretty Muddy at Ripley Castle.
Emma Pentelow, who is based out of the Skipton branch of the family firm of wealth managers, led her colleagues from both the Skipton and Leeds head office through a 5km mudbath obstacle course around the country estate to raise funds for the charity.
She explained “It was a great opportunity to contribute to something close to all our hearts while reinforcing our team values at the same time. We value a culture and work ethic based on trust, respect and belief in each other, and that really comes to the fore when you are plastered in mud and trying to scale the rough terrain and challenging obstacles of Pretty Muddy!
Participating at the event along with Emma were Jenny Egan, Debra Gilsenan, Rachel Lowther, Sharon Salmon, Dineo Ledwaba-Chapma,supported by Lynn Snarr.
Not to be out-done, new Operations Director Dave Stanger is making sure the Pentelow men get a chance to show their prowess away from the challenging world of investments and has signed the staff up for a tri-athlon in St. Albans in October.
