On Thursday 6th November at Utopia on the Broughton Hall estate, Enterprising Women from the Craven area will be holding their monthly brainstorming session inviting new and existing members to come along and experience a productive group experience which fosters natural, organic partnering and referral.
Liz Preston of Craven Safety Services is scheduled to present the regular member spotlight slot forming part of the meeting. Liz works with local businesses to provide flexible packages of support and advice on health and safety, whatever their size or nature of their work. Her no nonsense, straight talking approach makes her an interesting speaker on this subject, helping to save both time and money on this aspect of running a business.
Enterprising Women welcome new members along to join in the inspiring round table style meeting which provides an opportunity for a productive mix of formal and informal networking. Structured time is facilitated for each member to outline a specific problem they are facing in their business in order to tap into the combined resources of the group for suggestions. Brainstorming ideas and developing strategies together in this way is proven to stimulate businesses to grow within a self-generating environment of like-minded women.
Host, Emma Pentelow, is Director of The Pentelow Practice Ltd., a family business at the forefront of wealth management with an office at Broughton Hall business park. A busy working mum, she enjoys the opportunity to meet with other businesswomen in the region from a variety of sectors, saying “There is definitely a thriving demand for top quality professional services in this locality. Not everyone wants to trail into the city for high calibre advice and this club allows us all to meet and it showcases the pool of talent among career women in the area.”
The business club session on 6th November runs from 10am to 12.30pm, costing £14 including brunch. To book a place, new and existing members are invited to register online at http://www.enterprising-women.org/skipton-business-club-networking-november-2014
