New Number 1 in SkiptonThe 1st June will see the opening of a new bar and restaurant in Skipton which aims to provide a stylish town centre dining experience, No.1 Bar & Grill. On Devonshire Place, the new venture is sited in the refurbished premises which proved so popular with the clientele of Nosh for many years.
Downstairs will be a glamorous cocktail and champagne bar serving food and light bites, while upstairs offers a more formal dining restaurant.

Heading the team at Number 1 Bar & Grill are Dan and Laura Stevens, who have been running a vibrant Leeds city centre restaurant. Among the high calibre staff of their new Skipton venture is Head Chef, Grant Hamlin, formerly of The Devonshire Fell, The Fleece at Addingham and former Skipton favourite, Nosh.

The menu will specialise in fine English cuisine served with a contemporary twist. Dishes will be available in full size or half-plate portions perfect for dining on the way home from work or before an evening out.

Free wi-fi will be among the necessities provided for the smart-set that are sure to enjoy the ambience of this new Number 1 place to be in Skipton which will be open lunchtime and evening 6 days a week (closed Tuesdays).

Applications are welcome for waiting, kitchen and bar staff to join the team and reservations are being taken for the opening night celebrations on 1st June, telephone 07715 104123 for details.
