Hartleys Bedrooms create beautifully designed, fitted storage solutions but it seems it’s not just fine furniture they can craft; the Skipton firm showed itself to be top drawer for its website in a social media competition.
Nominated by Awarding Women in Biz using #Womaninbiz and #1pmlunch, Hartleys Bedrooms was selected by the online support network, which has over 125k Twitter followers, for its website’s aspirational photography, creative design and overall user experience.
Hartleys Bedrooms acquired the title of Best Business Website after receiving the majority of votes during the Twitter contest, which recognised the great content and inspiring design of their website.
Sara Haggas, Marketing Manager at Hartleys Bedrooms said, ‘’We are thrilled to have won and all the support has been amazing. We’re delighted to have received such positive feedback about our website, and I would like to thank all the local ‘tweeters’ for casting a vote for us – it really did count.’’
The time and expertise invested in overseeing the development of the website with web designer thatclick, to ensure it is both practical and visually appealing, perfectly reflects Hartleys’ ethos when designing bespoke home furniture for clients; something they have been doing successfully for over 30 years.
A forward thinking company embracing the buzz social media can have on engaging customers, Hartleys Bedrooms received recognition from Dragon’s Den star and business heavyweight Theo Paphitis, winning his Small Business Sunday Campaign in 2014. The retail magnate retweets his favourites driving even more traffic back to the winner’s website; Hartleys Bedrooms reported a 20{afd41c4ab3623e68baffe29f6190c4c16e77cb65ef9a747ad10afe8b083b250d} increase in followers as a direct result of that campaign and it hopes to see further growth in followers following this most recent contest and website win.
