Craven’s longest standing women’s networking group, WorcNet, is continuing its work in championing local women involved in business and social enterprise by hosting a workshop about blogging.
Running from 10.30am to 3pm on Wednesday 6th August the workshop is one of a regular program of WorcNet Business Development Lunches held at The Tempest Arms in Elslack near Skipton.
Open to any women in the area who want to know more about how a blog can be used as an effective means of communication in the digital world, the workshop will be led by Janet Bebb of Social Progress Ltd. Suitable for women at all stages of career, from entrepreneurs to hobbyists the day’s session will help to identify why to blog, what to blog about, and top tips on how to be an active and effective blogger.
WorcNet is a self-sustaining business and social networking group for women in the Craven area with over 80 members. Over the years it has helped many women to start-up their own business and provided a supportive environment for many of the area’s successful small companies to flourish. The majority of the women are self-employed in a diverse range of businesses from professional services to crafts and therapies.
Costing £20, the blogging workshop includes lunch and places must be booked in advance by contacting worcnet@gmail.com for a booking form.
